Taking two classes while abroad, while doing an independent study, sounded simple enough, but boy, was I in over my head. Still, I wouldn’t have changed anything. The insight I gained from this experience was incredible and will help me in whatever career path I decide to pursue, especially on a global scale. So, I wanted to share some of the information I have learned, because I believe everyone should be able to discover something new, especially something as cool as this.

If you are still in college and considering international public relations or advertising as a career, I suggest studying abroad. One size does not fit all when it comes to PR campaigns or ads, especially if you're sending them abroad. In my short one-month program in the United Kingdom, I learned so much about cultural differences and how consumers interact with brands internationally. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will have lasting effects on my future care
